The Approach for the solution
The solution employs an AI framework to ensure an automated precise and unbiased grading of students’ answer sheets. Leveraging advanced technologies, including Object Detection Models and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) model TrOCR, our system operates seamlessly. Educators upload ideal answers as a reference and source of truth for grading student’s answers. The uploaded answer sheets undergo a comprehensive process: first, the YOLOv8 model precisely pinpoints the answered questions’ locations, using coordinates to identify them accurately.Then, the system employs the Projection Profile Method Algorithm to correct the skew angle of the answer sheet, enhancing the accuracy of subsequent analysis.
